The Opportunity  

This position works out of our Alajuela, Coyol location in the Vascular division that provides innovative, minimally invasive, and cost-effective products for the treatment of vascular disease.

 

 

What You’ll Do  

• Support ongoing preventive maintenance and repair work on facility mechanical, electrical, and other installed systems. Monitor facilities systems operations and preventive Maintenance contracts.

• Interacts with external and internal clients on the scope of management and execution of projects related to the campus infrastructure for knowing and complying with the businesses and their necessities and expectations.

• Perform projects related to the continuous improvement of our site existing facilities and utilities.

• Assist to maintain all HVAC systems and associated equipment, electrical equipment, plumbing systems, building management system, and building repairs.

• Promote continuous improvement of the facilities systems in order to comply with both internal and external clients.

• Perform general facility inspections and report on condition affecting operations.

• Assist in repairs involving basic electrical, electronical, mechanical and plumbing systems.

• Prepare and submit summary reports of conditions in buildings and recommend actions to be taken.

• All other duties as assigned.

 

Shift: Admin (Monday – Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm)

On-Site position

 

Required Qualifications 

• At least 80% completed of a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical, Electromechanical or Maintenance Engineering
• 1 year of related experience
• Intermediate commands of English

 

Preferred Qualifications 

• Desirable knowledge of HVAC, air compressors, potable water, RODI systems, others.

• Desirable good knowledge of OSHA and ISO standards, & GMP’s.

• Desirable knowledge of medical industry and controlled environments.
