Job Description

As a Security Officer Commercial Building in Littleton, CO, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees and visitors. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while contributing to Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, and people-first culture through teamwork and integrity.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel at a telecommunications and media services location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, service disruptions, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, office areas, equipment locations, parking areas, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as required, and document observations, incidents, and unusual conditions in accordance with site procedures.
• Support a professional environment by communicating clearly with site contacts and responding to requests for assistance within assigned responsibilities.

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
