The Growth & Innovation Business Operations team within our Space & Defense Group is seeking a spring 2027 block intern. The intern will have an onsite work schedule in Blacksburg, VA.    

To be considered for this role, here’s what you’ll need to bring with you:   

• Enrolled in a Business related Bachelor's or Master's Degree program, at an accredited university. 

• GPA of at least 3.0; exact GPA requirement will be specified by department. 

• This position requires access to U.S. export-controlled information. 

• Ability to relocate for the duration of the internship. 

 

Students within the Moog U.S. Internship Program are expected to have a professional disposition, effective communication skills, a strong desire to learn, a positive attitude, and the ability to work in a team environment. 

In this role you will:    

• Contribute to the preparation and execution of key business operations tasks at Moog. 

• Work experience may include the following projects based on the student's educational discipline: 

• • Help define and validate an Innovation Portfolio Management (IPM) framework. 

• • Develop consistent criteria for evaluating innovation investments. 

• • Create tools to visualize portfolio priorities and tradeoffs. 

• • Establish governance processes, decision rights, and investment reviews. 

• • Test and refine the framework through a real-world pilot and deployment roadmap. 

• • Extract, organize, and analyze data to drive business recommendations. 

• Provide input on project processes, strategies, and execution. 

• Operate as a multidisciplinary member of a team of creative, independent individuals. 

• Represent Moog in a manner consistent with its technical and professional reputation.

Salary Range Transparency:

Blacksburg, VA $21.42–$26.92 Hourly

Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. The range(s) listed is just one component of Moog's total compensation package for employees.
