  • Identify defective materials, poor workmanship, and non-compliant installations and report findings to the responsible engineer.
  • Monitor corrective actions taken by contractors and verify that identified deficiencies have been rectified satisfactorily.
  • Support the implementation of project quality assurance and quality control procedures.
  • Ensure inspection activities are carried out in accordance with approved inspection and test plans.

Drawing & Technical Document Review

  • Monitor contractor activities to ensure architectural works are executed in the approved sequence and according to project requirements.
  • Coordinate with structural, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and interior design teams to identify and resolve interface issues.
  • Follow up on inspection requests and ensure that completed works are presented for inspection at the appropriate stages.
  • Communicate technical observations clearly and professionally to contractors and relevant project stakeholders.
  • Escalate recurring quality issues, significant deviations, and unresolved technical concerns to the supervising engineer.

Non-Conformance & Corrective Action Management

  • Monitor contractor progress against approved schedules and report issues that may affect project milestones.
  • Record site activities, workforce observations, material deliveries, and relevant construction developments.
  • Provide timely updates to the Resident Engineer or assigned supervision engineer regarding quality, progress, and compliance.
  • Ensure inspection documentation is accurate, complete, and maintained in accordance with project procedures.
