Hospital Porter

We are seeking a dedicated and reliable individual to join our team as a Hospital Porter. The successful candidate will be responsible for transporting patients, medical equipment, and supplies throughout the hospital in a safe and efficient manner. Key responsibilities include:

• Assisting with the movement of patients to and from various departments, ensuring their comfort and safety during transport.
• Handling and transporting medical equipment, supplies, and specimens as required by hospital staff.
• Maintaining cleanliness and organization in designated areas, including patient transport equipment and storage areas.
• Collaborating with nursing and medical staff to prioritize and fulfill transport requests in a timely manner.
• Adhering to all hospital policies and procedures, particularly those related to health and safety.
• Providing excellent customer service and support to patients, families, and staff, addressing any concerns or questions as necessary.
• Participating in training and development programs to enhance skills and knowledge related to the role.

The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, a compassionate demeanor, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Previous experience in a healthcare setting is advantageous but not mandatory.
