Description

The EMG Technologist will be responsible for conducting electrodiagnostic studies, including electromyography (EMG) and nerve conduction velocity (NCV) tests, to assist physicians in diagnosing neuromuscular disorders. This role requires a strong understanding of human anatomy, physiology, and neurophysiology, as well as excellent patient care and communication skills. As an EMG Technologist, you will work closely with neurologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and high-quality test results. You will be responsible for preparing patients for procedures, explaining the process, and ensuring their comfort throughout the examination. You will also be expected to maintain and calibrate equipment, document findings, and adhere to safety and infection control protocols. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in a clinical neurophysiology setting, be certified or eligible for certification by a recognized credentialing body such as ABRET or AAET, and demonstrate a commitment to continuous learning and professional development. Attention to detail, manual dexterity, and the ability to work independently are essential for success in this role. This is a rewarding opportunity for a healthcare professional who is passionate about diagnostic testing and improving patient outcomes. If you are a motivated individual with a strong technical background and a compassionate approach to patient care, we encourage you to apply.
