This is a field position; however, sample collection sites are located throughout Nebraska and Western Iowa. Candidates must be within a commutable distance.
Your Responsibilities as a Scientist 1 - Staff Scientist:
- Collect soil, water, air, and/or building material samples.
- Gather, analyze, and interpret data.
- Input data into template reports.
What we're looking for:
- Bachelor's degree in related scientific field.
- 0-2 years of experience with environmental field sampling and data collection.
- HAZWOPER certification preferred (as needed)
- Field data collection
- Technical writing
- Microsoft 365
- Valid driver's license, good driving history and reliable transportation are required.
