Experienced Palliative Care NP/PA - 100% Inpatient in Pinehurst, NC

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Palliative Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to carry out our mission, “To care for people.”

Responsibilities

  • The inpatient Palliative Care APP treats patients across multiple units at Moore Regional Hospital. 
  • The care team includes seven Palliative Care APPs and two dedicated social workers.
  • Multi-disciplinary approach to care; collaborate with Hospitalists, specialists, nurses, discharge planners and others. 
  • Dependable schedule offers work-life balance … Monday through Friday, 8A-5P, no call

Qualifications

  • NP must be a graduate of a nurse practitioner education program and have national certification. 
  • PA must be a graduate of an AMA-approved Physician Assistant program and have NCCPA certification.
  • Minimum 2 years of advanced practice experience required. APPs function autonomously across all units. 
  • Must be able to exercise a high degree of initiative, judgment, and discretion in decision-making. 
  • Exceptional communication skills; must be able to effectively navigate sensitive patient/family discussions.
  • Clean background, NC license, and NC DEA required.
  • AHA ACLS certification required.
