Description
At SOUS, we help independent food & beverage entrepreneurs grow. Our AI-powered SaaS platform enables new revenue streams, online visibility, and stronger customer relationships.
To make this vision a reality, we’re searching for an **AI Automation Lead** who will help our teams work more successfully and efficiently by leveraging AI, managing tooling, and implementing practical solutions. This role is not a layer between Merchant Success, Operations, Product, and Tech, but a hands-on enabler across them. You will help teams move faster and smarter by building useful internal tools, improving workflows, implementing external tools, and applying AI in a practical way. If you enjoy making teams more effective through tooling, automation, Lovable, AI agents, and better workflows, we’d love to meet you.
## Tasks
**Enable teams through tooling, AI, and internal solutions (50%-60% of your time):**
- Build and maintain internal tooling that helps teams work faster, smarter, and with less manual effort.
- Manage and improve systems such as HubSpot, Claude co-workflows, Lovable, and other internal tools.
- Identify where AI can improve efficiency and implement practical use cases across the business.
- Build lightweight proof of concepts to test new tools, automations, and AI-driven ways of working.
- Build and maintain simple AI agents that support day-to-day business processes and team productivity.
- Help teams adopt better workflows and tooling that increase speed and effectiveness.
**Implement external tools and improve workflows (40%-50% of your time):**
- Select, implement, and maintain external tools such as Lokalise, while setting up the right workflows and team processes around them.
- Support Merchant Success, Operations, Product, and Tech by solving workflow and tooling bottlenecks.
- Support the development team with smaller AI-driven development tasks and practical AI agent implementation.
- Use Lovable to create and improve internal workflows, prototypes, and operational tooling.
- Turn repetitive or manual work into more scalable processes through automation and smart tooling.
- Maintain visibility into what tools, automations, and workflows are working and where improvements are needed.
- Contribute directly to a more efficient, scalable, and modern operating model.
## Requirements
**Tooling and Operational Experience:**
- You have hands-on experience with HubSpot, Claude, Lovable, AI tooling, no-code / low-code tooling, or workflow automation.
- You have experience supporting internal teams with tooling, workflow improvements, and process optimization.
- You have experience working in a SaaS environment.
- You understand how internal systems, tooling, and automation can improve team efficiency and execution quality.
- You have experience implementing and managing external tools and setting up the workflows needed to make them successful in practice.
**AI and Builder Mindset:**
- You are excited about applying AI in practical, day-to-day business environments.
- You can build simple proof of concepts, automations, and AI agents that solve real business problems.
- You know how to use tools like Lovable, Claude, and other AI workflows to improve efficiency.
- You can move quickly from idea to implementation without overcomplicating things.
**Hands-On and Structured:**
- You are proactive, practical, and like solving problems directly.
- You bring structure, ownership, and follow-through.
- You are comfortable experimenting, testing, and improving as you go.
