Description
Development of new and modification of existing database objects related to the MDOT Electronic Maryland Construction Management System (eMCMS). Database objects include tables, functions, procedures, sequences, file level object modification and data manipulation to bring data formatting and storage methods into compliance with the preferred system architecture, as determined by MDOT. The resource will provide technical expertise and perform software coding as required to complete the tasks related to the correct calculation of financial values for sole source and task order construction contracts and create and modify database objects to support desired modes report modifications, as well as to perform database architectural development tasks and data manipulation related to the upgrade of the underlying PostgreSQL database from version 12 to 16

- At least ten (10) years of software development experience
- PostgreSQL experience a must.
- 8 years of experience with PostgreSQL Development
- Expert hands-on software development experience using C#, ASP.NET, Web Services/ APIs
- Experience with Microsoft DevOps or GitHub code management environment.
- Familiarity with VB.NET, classic ASP, VBScript, VBA, MS Access applications, and PL/SQL.
- Prior MDOT EMCMS Experience preferred
