POSITION SUMMARY

PR Specialist plays a key role in driving brand awareness and shaping brand perception through strategic public relations, storytelling, and partnership initiatives. This role is responsible for building strong media and influencer relationships, delivering compelling brand and product narratives, and managing PR-related risks within the Korea market.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

1. PR Strategy & Planning

• Develop and execute PR strategies to drive brand awareness through compelling stories, experiences, and brand purpose
• Translate global and regional communication strategies into locally relevant PR plans for the Korea market
• Plan integrated PR initiatives supporting product launches, seasonal campaigns, and brand priorities

2. PR Execution & Media Relations

• Plan and manage PR activities including media outreach, events, and press engagement across traditional and digital channels
• Build and maintain strong relationships with media, journalists, editors, event organizers, and industry associations
• Ensure consistent PR execution to maximize earned media coverage and brand exposure

3. Storytelling & Brand Communication

• Develop and distribute press releases, media kits, and PR assets to support brand and product storytelling
• Ensure clear, consistent, and impactful brand messaging across all PR touchpoints
• Act as a brand communication representative when engaging with media and external stakeholders

4. Risk Management

• Manage PR-related risks and issues proactively, ensuring appropriate response and communication strategies
• Support corporate communication needs and handle sensitive issues with strong judgment

5. Reporting, Collaboration & Regional Alignment

• Deliver regular media monitoring reports, PR performance analysis, and insights to internal and regional stakeholders
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams (brand, media, digital, retail) to deliver integrated brand experience
• Work with Regional HQ teams to align communication strategies and share insights, assets, and best practices

REQUIREMENTS FOR SUCCESS

• 6–10 years of experience in Public Relations, Communications, or related disciplines
• Experience in consumer products, retail, or related industries (sportswear/fashion experience is a plus)
• Strong analytical capability with strategic thinking and solid business acumen
• Proven experience in managing PR campaigns, media relationships, and cross-functional projects
• Advanced proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel for reporting and presentation
• Strong command of written and spoken English, particularly in business and presentation settings
• Willingness to provide a portfolio or PR case examples during the hiring process
