Job Description
1. Embedded System Firmware Development:
- Design and implement embedded software for network communication devices (C, C++, Python).
- Develop and debug drivers to ensure proper hardware functionality.
2. Operating System and Development Environment:
- System development and optimization based on Linux/RTOS (Real-Time Operating System).
- Use Yocto, Buildroot, or OpenWRT for system construction and customization.
3. System Debugging:
- Use GDB, JTAG, and Wireshark for debugging and issue analysis.
4. Security and Firmware Update Mechanisms:
- Enhance embedded system security, such as Secure Boot, encrypted communication, and vulnerability patching.
- Design and implement OTA (Over-The-Air) firmware update mechanisms to ensure remote maintenance and upgrades.
5. Cross-Department Collaboration:
- Collaborate with hardware, testing, and product managers to participate in requirement specification discussions and feasibility assessments.
- Write software design documents to ensure maintainability and scalability of the software architecture.
