External Sales Representative
A well-established company in the automotive and building supply industry is looking for an experienced External Sales Representative to join their team.
Salary: Basic salary, commission and benefits
Requirements
- Matric/ Grade 12 Certificate
- 3 to 5 years’ experience as a sales representative
- External sales experience
- Experience in the automotive, automotive glass or insurance industry will be beneficial
- Digital marketing experience will be beneficial
- Positive attitude and motivated
- Valid drivers licence and own transport
Responsibilities
- Building and maintaining relationships with clients – Insurers, Brokers & Fleet Customers
- Following up on orders, sales, etc
- Servicing existing clients & maintaining relationships
- Calling on new clients and expanding the client base
- Daily call sheets and monitoring of progress
- Perform cost-benefit and needs analysis of existing/potential customers to meet their needs
- Reach out to customer leads through cold calling
- Achieve agreed upon sales targets and outcomes within schedule
- Coordinate sales effort with team members and other departments
- Supply management with reports on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, and potential for new products and services.
- Understand pricing and negotiate the best deals to secure sales
