A well-established company in the automotive and building supply industry is looking for an experienced External Sales Representative to join their team.

 

Salary: Basic salary, commission and benefits

 

Requirements

• Matric/ Grade 12 Certificate
• 3 to 5 years’ experience as a sales representative
• External sales experience
• Experience in the automotive, automotive glass or insurance industry will be beneficial
• Digital marketing experience will be beneficial
• Positive attitude and motivated
• Valid drivers licence and own transport

 

 

Responsibilities 

• Building and maintaining relationships with clients – Insurers, Brokers & Fleet Customers
• Following up on orders, sales, etc
• Servicing existing clients & maintaining relationships
• Calling on new clients and expanding the client base
• Daily call sheets and monitoring of progress
• Perform cost-benefit and needs analysis of existing/potential customers to meet their needs
• Reach out to customer leads through cold calling
• Achieve agreed upon sales targets and outcomes within schedule
• Coordinate sales effort with team members and other departments
• Supply management with reports on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, and potential for new products and services.
• Understand pricing and negotiate the best deals to secure sales
