Overview

This position may be filled as a Level I or II.  Additional responsibilities and qualifications apply.

 

The purpose of this position is to support the Private Wealth department through ensuring data integrity in accounts, transactions and collaborate with other departments to ensure effective account administration as well as support the various stakeholders within the department through at least one area of subject matter expertise within this SEI Wealth Platform – transactional, research and/or account type. In addition, be responsible for at least one chartered committee and/or working group’s administrative needs.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure data integrity on assigned accounts (250 to 400 accounts) and enter transactional data as authorized and supported by documentation and procedures.
  • Support the Private Wealth Advisors in preparation of client and prospect meetings as well as the development of prospect/client materials to be approved by compliance.
  • Timely, efficiently, and completely support Private Wealth Executives and Private Wealth Advisors in opening and closing accounts and all transactions.
  • Communicate via phone and/or email
  • Develop training materials and desk guides for identified area of subject matter expertise within the SEI Wealth Platform.
  • Operate within the confines of all applicable desk guides and procedures in both Private Wealth and Tailored Wealth Operations.
  • Understand, analyze and make appropriate corrections of account/client settings and coding on SWP while coordinating with the Private Wealth Executive team.
  • Perform the administrative duties for an assigned chartered committee and/or working group. This includes, but is not limited to, the aggregation of data and reporting for the periodic packets, drafting committee minutes, and ensuring the formal committee record is kept timely and accurately in accordance procedures.
  • Support the organizational unit and Private Wealth division as requested for projects, or special operational events.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Level II Additional Responsibilities:

  • Transaction approval up to $50,000 dependent on the level of the associate’s experience and officer status.

Qualifications

Private Wealth Specialist I Qualifications: 

  • At least one of the following:
    • High school diploma or GED with at least eight years of financial service or administrative experience.
    • An associate’s degree with at least six years of financial services or administrative experience.
    • Four year college degree with at least two years of financial service or administrative experience.
  • Must have a general knowledge of business and administrative processes
  • Detail oriented with excellent time management skills; Associate must be capable of handling as determined by management at least a minimum level of assigned accounts, account complexity and assets under administration
  • Propensity to achieve high client service levels
  • Coworker interpersonal and interdepartmental collaboration skills
  • Excellent client communication and interpersonal skills (oral and written)
  • PC, PC application, and computer-based information reporting skills
  • Must complete and comprehend SEI PLATO training assigned for the role and be able to develop one area of subject matter expertise – transactional, research, and/or account type. 
  • Experience with the SEI Wealth Platform preferred
  • Experience within a wealth management firm preferred

 

Private Wealth Specialist II Qualifications: 

  • At least one of the following:
    • An associate’s degree with at least eight years of financial services or administrative experience.
    • Four year college degree with at least four years of financial service or administrative experience.
    • Six years of experience in a role similar to that of a Private Wealth Specialist I.
  • Must have a general knowledge of business and administrative processes
  • Detail oriented with excellent time management skills; Associate must be capable of handling as determined by management at least a minimum level of assigned accounts, account complexity and assets under administration
  • Propensity to achieve high client service levels
  • Coworker interpersonal and interdepartmental collaboration skills
  • Excellent client communication and interpersonal skills (oral and written)
  • PC, PC application, and computer-based information reporting skills
  • Must complete and comprehend SEI PLATO training assigned for the role and be able to develop two or more areas of subject matter expertise – transactional, research, and/or account type.

 

Physical Requirements/Working Conditions: Must be able to sit or stand for long periods of time and use a computer keyboard and/or mouse, while viewing computer screens. Must be able to lift at least 20 pounds in order to process boxed or bagged coins.
