Overview
This is a fixed term position until the 24th December 2026.
The Cashstar platform is used to manage 1st party client gift card programmes. It is a fully managed service that we provide to our clients and the Finance team handle all aspects of the service. We act on behalf of the clients and therefore behave as if we are the client as far as the end customers are concerned. On one hand the team are supporting the customers buying the products from us, on the other they are supporting the client which are the likes of Tesco, Morrisons, Iceland, Marks and Spencers etc. This role is to support the team during the Christmas Peak period where the volume of work is increased considerably, duties are limited to those that can be taught quickly.
Responsibilities
- To manage customer orders via Cashstar, manually releasing the orders when funds are received or where floats/credit limits permit.
- Set up new customers in Cashstar and our ERP system following KYB rules.
- Raise invoices to clients for commissions.
- Create remittances for clients.
- Support with system and bank reconciliations, running reports and downloading data.
- Support with client promotions, devaluing giftcards at point of expiry.
- Perform manual fraud checks on customers, working closely with the Fraud Manager where required to identify possible fraudulent orders.
- Understand and work to an agreed set of SLAs.

Qualifications
- Knowledge of double entry bookkeeping is required
- Good knowledge of excel – intermediate level.
- Strong attention to detail and motivated to ensure accuracy of own work.
- Must have strong communication skills, both written and oral, with the ability to change customer behaviour.
- Must be able to work as part of a team, flexing duties and supporting each other to meet client SLAs
- Experience of working in a commercial environment, working to tight deadlines in a busy team would be beneficial.
- Must be able to work on behalf of our clients.
