Receptionist

Varney Agency is seeking a Receptionist to join our Bangor reception team. This role serves as an important first point of contact for our clients, business partners, and employees while providing administrative support to offices throughout the organization.

We are looking for someone who is friendly, dependable, and enjoys helping others. The ideal candidate is a team player who communicates well, is highly organized, and brings a resourceful approach to solving problems and managing competing priorities. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Answering and directing phone calls for multiple offices
• Processing customer payments
• Sorting and distributing incoming mail
• Maintaining daily reports and administrative records
• Providing general administrative support to agency team members
• Helping ensure a positive and professional experience for visitors and callers

Requirements

• Excellent verbal and oral communication skills
• Ability to type 40+ wpm
• Ability to use phone and computer for extended periods of time
