Description
POSITION SUMMARY:
The Accounting Associate handles general ledger, month end entries, balance sheets, reconciliations, and data entry.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Handles and completes general ledger, month end entries, balance sheets, reconciliations, and data entry.
- Knowledge of bookkeeping, accounting (credit, debit), Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Ability to work with detail and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- ALL OTHER DUTIES AS ASSIGNED
INDEPENDENT JUDGEMENT:
- Performs tasks and duties under direct supervision, using well-defined policies and procedures. Work is reviewed by supervisor. Limited opportunity exists for exercising independent judgment and decision making.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Regularly performs computer work and sits.
- Occasionally walks and stands.
- Seldom/never lifts up to 50lbs.
