Location: BGC
Work Setup: Hybrid, 3 Days WFH and 2 Days Onsite

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
-
Collaborate with business stakeholders, product owners, architects, developers, and QA teams to gather, analyze, validate, and document functional and non-functional requirements.

Conduct requirements workshops, stakeholder interviews, and elicitation sessions to understand business needs and claims operations.
-
Translate business requirements into functional specifications, user stories, process flows, use cases, and acceptance criteria.
-
Analyze existing claims processes and identify opportunities for process improvement, automation, and digital transformation.
-
Work closely with Guidewire ClaimCenter developers and architects throughout solution design, configuration, and implementation.
-
Participate in functional discussions covering claim lifecycle management, First Notice of Loss (FNOL), exposure and reserve management, assignment rules, activity management, work plans, payments and recoveries, subrogation, litigation management, and contact management.

Analyze integration requirements between Guidewire applications and third-party systems.
-
Conduct gap analysis and impact assessments to identify differences between business requirements and standard Guidewire ClaimCenter functionality.

Plan and facilitate User Acceptance Testing (UAT), coordinate test execution and defect triage, and obtain business sign-offs.

Prepare and maintain business requirements documents, functional specifications, process maps, data mapping documents, use cases, and test scenarios.

Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, including backlog refinement, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
-
Coordinate with onshore and offshore teams to manage dependencies, resolve issues, and ensure project milestones are met.

Support activities across the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including requirements analysis, design, testing, deployment, and production support.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
-
6-10 years of overall IT experience, with significant experience working as a Business Analyst.
-
At least 2 years of experience working on Guidewire ClaimCenter implementation, enhancement, upgrade, or support projects.

Experience participating in at least one end-to-end Guidewire ClaimCenter implementation.
-
Strong understanding of Guidewire ClaimCenter functionality, configuration capabilities, and claims-related business processes.
-
Solid knowledge of Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance claims operations, including claims adjudication, settlement, recovery, subrogation, litigation management, and regulatory compliance.
-
Understanding of personal lines and commercial lines claims.
-
Experience gathering and analyzing requirements, developing functional specifications, creating user stories, managing backlogs, and documenting business processes.
-
Ability to perform gap analysis, impact assessments, and requirements traceability.
-
Experience facilitating UAT, managing defects, and coordinating business validation and sign-offs.
-
Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, and Confluence.

Strong documentation, process modeling, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
-
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage effectively with business and technical stakeholders.

Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a customer-centric approach and attention to detail.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.

Guidewire ACE Certification in ClaimCenter Business Analysis or a related stream.

Insurance-related professional certifications.

Agile or business analysis certifications, such as Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), SAFe, or PMI Professional in Business Analysis (PMI-PBA).

Experience with Guidewire Cloud migration, modernization, or transformation programs.

Exposure to Guidewire PolicyCenter and BillingCenter, including cross-application processes and integrations.

Experience supporting digital claims transformation initiatives.

Familiarity with APIs, web services, integration patterns, Guidewire DataHub, and InfoCenter.

Experience working on Guidewire Cloud Platform projects.
