As part of our international team, you will help drive the energy transition by making sure our UK solar sites are energised safely and connected to the grid in full compliance.
We are looking for an experienced and safety-driven HV Senior Authorised Person to lead HV operations, G99 compliance testing and the interface with Distribution Network Operators on our UK solar PV sites. This is an exciting opportunity to take real responsibility on large-scale projects and support Greencells’ continued growth in the UK.

Your mission

• Act as HV Senior Authorised Person on Greencells UK solar PV sites (11/33 kV, and 132 kV where applicable)
• Write and approve switching programmes, and issue and cancel safety documents such as Permit to Work (PTW), Sanction for Test (SFT) and Limitation of Access (LOA)
• Plan, lead and document G99 compliance testing, including reactive power, voltage control, frequency response and power quality, through all stages from EON to ION and FON
• Be the single point of contact for the DNO, covering connection and operational matters, outage bookings, witness tests and G99 evidence packs
• Commission HV switchgear, protection and interface protection, and lead fault finding and plant-trip investigations
• Coach and authorise Authorised Persons (APs) and Competent Persons (CPs), and support project teams and clients on HV safety

Your profile

• Current SAP authorisation, minimum 33 kV, on private or renewable networks
• Proven experience in issuing PTW and SFT and writing switching programmes
• Hands-on experience with G99 compliance testing on solar PV or BESS sites, including DNO witnessing
• Working knowledge of EaWR 1989, ESQCR 2002, G99 and G5/5
• Able to run energisations and G99 testing independently and keep accurate records under programme pressure
• Confident communication with DNOs, clients and project teams
• Full UK driving licence and the right to work in the UK
• A responsible, proactive and solution-oriented approach to work, with the ability to apply professional expertise effectively in day-to-day activities
• A commitment to respectful, trusting collaboration and mutual support within the team
