EXCLUSIVE WEEKEND NANNY & HOUSEKEEPER | PRESCOT
Location: Prescot, Merseyside
Days: Saturdays and Sundays, 9am–6pm
Salary: £20 gross per hour
Start Date: ASAP
The Northern Nanny Agency is delighted to be working with a lovely family seeking a warm, proactive and experienced Nanny/Housekeeper to support their household at weekends.
With dad travelling extensively for work, mum is looking for an extra pair of hands to help care for her two boys, aged three years and six months, alongside some light housekeeping to help the home run smoothly.
THE ROLE
This is a varied position combining childcare and housekeeping, with a mixture of sole and shared care. Mum would love someone who is happy to accompany her and the children on days out, offering an extra pair of hands while also helping with practical household tasks.
Duties will include:
- Providing attentive, nurturing care for both boys.
- Supporting the children’s routines, development and age-appropriate activities.
- Assisting mum on family outings and days out.
- Undertaking nursery duties and keeping children’s areas organised.
- General housekeeping, including tidying, laundry and maintaining a clean, organised home.
- Helping with the practicalities of family life to ensure weekends run smoothly.
- Taking a flexible, hands-on approach, balancing childcare and household responsibilities according to the family’s needs.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE
The family are looking for a professional, reliable and naturally organised individual who enjoys both childcare and housekeeping.
You will be warm, proactive and happy to work collaboratively with mum, anticipating what needs doing and providing support without always needing direction. Experience caring for both toddlers and babies is essential, alongside confidence managing household tasks to a good standard.
The family also have a small dog.
FLEXIBLE WEEKEND ARRANGEMENT
The position is required every Saturday and Sunday, 9am–6pm. However, mum would be happy to consider two candidates sharing the position, with each working two weekends per month.
A FAMILY WE KNOW AND TRUST
We placed the family’s housekeeper many years ago, and she remains with them today, speaking extremely highly of the family. This is a lovely reflection of the positive, long-standing working relationships within their household.
