Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Patrol Driver in Bellevue, WA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a retail location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. This driving position requires a valid driver’s license meeting Allied Universal driver policy requirements. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, shoppers, and store personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of retail sales areas, entry and exit points, parking areas, loading zones, and the surrounding perimeter to help identify unusual activity and help deter unauthorized access.
• Monitor customer and employee activity, report suspicious behavior, hazards, and security-related concerns to site leadership and/or appropriate authorities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner while following established procedures.
• Prepare accurate reports and maintain required activity logs for patrols, incidents, and other security-related observations.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
