HealthX is recruiting Personal Care Assistants (PCAs) for casual opportunities across home care services in Brisbane, Queensland.
Payrate: Casual rates from $44.55 to $47.85 per hour, with generous penalty rates up to $105.27 per hour for public holiday shifts.

About the Role
As a Home Care Personal Care Assistant, you will support Registered Nurses and the wider Clinical Care Team in delivering high-quality, person-centred palliative care within the home setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist clients with activities of daily living
- Provide direct care within clients' homes with remote clinical oversight available 24/7
- Support mobility, transfers, pressure area care, oral and mouth care
- Work collaboratively with families, carers, and clinicians
- Maintain client dignity, comfort, and safety at all times
- Follow clinical protocols, infection control standards, and documentation requirements
- Respond appropriately to unexpected changes in client condition
About You – What We're Looking For
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Availability to work on a casual basis
- Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including night shifts
- Certificate III in Individual Support, Health Services Assistance, Aged Care, or a related qualification
- Previous experience in community care, aged care, disability support, oncology, palliative care, or a healthcare setting
- Strong communication skills and a compassionate, client-centred approach to care
- A current driver's licence and reliable vehicle (preferred)
