- Experiment with prompts and simple AI-agent workflows, document results, and suggest improvements with team guidance.
- Write or update basic scripts, queries, or lightweight interfaces using familiar tools such as Python or JavaScript.
- Support testing and troubleshooting by identifying issues, recording observations, and helping validate outputs.
- Participate in team meetings and Agile activities; share progress, ask questions, and document work for other team members.
Basic Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in an accredited college or university pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- US citizenship required.
- Coursework, academic projects, or personal projects involving programming, data analysis, or AI/ML concepts.
- Introductory experience with Python, JavaScript, or another programming language.
- Interest in learning about generative AI, automation, and IT service management.
- Ability to communicate clearly, collaborate with a team, and learn new tools with guidance.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance, as applicable to the position.
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with APIs, SQL, data visualization, or basic web development through coursework or projects.
- Exposure to large language models, prompt engineering, or AI-assisted development tools.
- Interest in IT operations, service management platforms, or Agile software development.
- Experience collaborating on a student team, internship, research project, or open-source project.
