Description
smartdept. is searching for a PR Support specialist for a growth and transformation consultancy serving ecommerce, retail, and DTC brands. This is a fully remote, ongoing freelance contract opportunity.
You'll handle hands-on PR execution for consumer brands, working under the direction of a senior PR lead.
What You'll Do:
- Build and maintain media lists
- Draft press releases, pitches, and media materials
- Send outreach and follow up with media contacts
- Track coverage and build coverage reports
- Coordinate product samples and media requests
- Monitor news and opportunities for the brands
What You'll Need:
- Hands-on PR experience, ideally with consumer or lifestyle brands
- Strong writing and editing skills
- Experience with media databases like Cision, Muck Rack, or similar
- Strong organization and attention to detail
- Comfort using AI tools to work faster
- Clear, reliable communication
Nice-to-Have Skills:
- Ecommerce, retail, or DTC brand experience
- Influencer outreach
- Social media support
- Agency PR experience
