Description
We are recruiting an experienced Electrical Estimator to support a leading Australian civil infrastructure contractor delivering projects across the renewables, water, wastewater and energy sectors.

Based in Sydney, the role involves preparing detailed first-principles electrical estimates for multidisciplinary infrastructure projects incorporating civil, structural and electrical construction. Responsibilities include tender reviews, material take-offs, subcontractor and supplier pricing, risk assessments, value engineering and developing competitive bids.
Key Requirements:
- Electrical estimating experience with a Tier 1 or Tier 2 civil infrastructure contractor.
- Strong first-principles estimating capability across integrated civil, structural and electrical projects.
- Experience in water, wastewater, renewables, energy or related infrastructure sectors.
- Ability to interpret electrical drawings, specifications and technical documentation.
- Understanding of interfaces between electrical, civil, structural, mechanical and process works.
- Advanced Excel skills and experience with Expert Estimation, CATS or similar software.
- Strong commercial judgement, subcontractor procurement and tender risk assessment skills.
Ideal Candidate: An experienced Electrical Estimator with a strong civil infrastructure background who understands multidisciplinary construction delivery and can contribute to complex, commercially competitive project tenders.
