IT Support Adminstrator, Fintech, Yerevan

Emerald Zebra on behalf of our client, an international fintech group, is looking to hire an IT Support Administrator for its brand-new office in Yerevan, Armenia.

Our client creates the technology that powers modern financial businesses. Its teams build trading platforms, payment gateways, AI tools, blockchain solutions and the cybersecurity and cloud infrastructure behind them, and support brokers and financial firms with turnkey launches. It serves clients and partners across more than 30 countries, and runs its own portfolio of brands in trading and payments. The group has offices in three countries. Armenia will be the fourth, and you will be one of the first people on the ground.

Engagement

Full time, Monday to Friday, 08:00 to 17:00

Why this role

A new office needs someone who makes everything work. You will be the person who sets up the workstations, runs the network, keeps the systems healthy and helps colleagues when something breaks. You will build the IT foundations of the Armenian office with the support of an established international group, and your work will be visible from day one. 

What you will do

• Manage and maintain Microsoft Active Directory
• Provide IT support to office and remote colleagues
• Manage and maintain the office network
• Set up workstations, hardware and other IT equipment
• Troubleshoot hardware, software and network issues
• Manage IT equipment and inventory
• Handle IT support requests and tickets
• Guide and train colleagues on the tools they use

What you bring

• 3 or more years in IT support or a similar role
• Strong knowledge of hardware, software and networking
• Hands-on experience with Active Directory
• Strong problem-solving and organizational skills
• The ability to work independently and manage multiple requests at once
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Based in Yerevan or able to work on-site there
