Job description :

Join Micron Technology at a defining moment in our history. We are seeking an IE (Industrial Engineering, E1~E2) engineer with AI concept/applications to improve the work loading/efficiency. Follow the PDCA (Plan ->Do->Check->Action) cycle for the capacity planning. also need good communication to co-work the project/cross-function task with related member. Job responsibilities :

a. Capacity planning (tactical period) : Based on short term demand view to check what's the capacity bottleneck. monitor capacity parameter accuracy/performance (EPT/Util/output/cycle time/lot size...etc). review the mitigation plan with owner. seek maxout activities for cost saving. follow up tooling delivery.

b. Capacity planning (strategy period) : Based on long term demand view to maintain parameter assumption into capacity system. check what's the capital/expense requirements to support the business plan. follow the budget/funding cycle to submit the capital needs for review. review the TIQ progress with Engineering team. review PO release status.

c. Layout (space) planning : follow the equipment list from capacity team to arrange tool space with vibration / bay line / foundation ...requirements. then work on the utility needs with facility team & maximum tool count we can arrange in fab. also the inspection with tool owner to make sure no issue of layout plan.

d. Tool installation coordination : work on the TIQ monitor to release tool for output. it's key to meet TIQ criteria to meet output plan.

e. Resource optimization : co-work the priority to see how to arrange the resources. to meet the output requirements.

Qualification :

a. Open mind to fix the questions/problems and let the output on track

b. AutoCAD skill for layout job

c. AI applications for CIP (Applying AI)

d. Data mining to see the root cause

e. Office software skill. including Excel / PPT..etc
