Job Summary:

K2 Industrial Services is hiring an Industrial Cleaning Crew Leader /Operators to join our field crews in Allen Park, Michigan. This is a hands-on, physical job for someone who enjoys working with equipment, working outdoors or in industrial environments, and being part of a crew. No prior industrial cleaning experience is required - we will train you.

 You will learn to safely operate high-pressure water blasting equipment, vacuum systems, hoses, pumps, lances, water blast guns, and other specialized industrial cleaning equipment. Our crews work at power plants, refineries, steel mills, manufacturing facilities, and other industrial sites, cleaning and maintaining tanks, vessels, piping, machinery, equipment, and industrial surfaces.

If you have experience in construction, general labor, manufacturing, plant maintenance, environmental services, pressure washing, vacuum truck operations, or other physically demanding work, this can be a great opportunity to build specialized industrial skills.

• Perform industrial cleaning and maintenance at power plants, refineries, mills, manufacturing facilities, and other industrial sites
• Operate and assist with high-pressure water blasting / hydroblasting equipment
• Use water blast guns, lances, hoses, pumps, and automated cleaning equipment
• Operate and assist with industrial vacuum systems and vacuum trucks
• Clean tanks, vessels, piping, machinery, equipment, and industrial surfaces
• Assist with setup, teardown, and preparation of industrial cleaning equipment
• Work with your crew to safely complete projects on schedule
• Perform equipment inspections, cleaning, and basic maintenance
• Follow job-specific safety procedures, PPE requirements, and K2 safety policies
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Learn new equipment, processes, and industrial cleaning techniques through hands-on training

Requirements and Education:

• Valid driver's license
• Previous construction, industrial, manufacturing, maintenance, pressure washing, or general labor experience
• Experience operating industrial equipment
• Ability to successfully complete required pre-employment screening

No Experience is necessary, Training will be provided

Physical & Work Environment

• Stand, walk, bend, kneel, climb, and work for extended periods
• Lift and move equipment, hoses, and materials
• Work in confined or industrial areas when properly trained and authorized
• Work around water, dirt, dust, noise, machinery, and varying temperatures
• Wear required personal protective equipment (PPE)
• Work outdoors and in industrial facilities
• Work extended hours and overtime based on project requirements
