Overview
The Project Manager II plays a key role in delivering transformation, digital, and operational improvement initiatives within a fast-paced BPO environment, supporting both internal stakeholders and client-facing projects.
This role is responsible for managing and coordinating multiple projects and workstreams from initiation through to implementation, ensuring delivery within agreed timelines, scope, budget, and quality standards. The Project Manager II works closely with business leaders, operations, technology teams, product owners, and cross-functional stakeholders to drive successful project outcomes while maintaining service excellence and operational stability.
The role also supports effective change management, governance, stakeholder engagement, and reporting processes to ensure projects are delivered with structure, visibility, and measurable business value.
Qualifications
Diploma or Degree in Business, Project Management, Information Systems, or a related field (advantageous).
3–5 years’ experience in project management, project coordination, or change delivery roles within a fast-paced environment.
Experience working in complex operational or digital transformation environments (BPO experience advantageous).
Exposure to project governance frameworks, project lifecycle management, and change management principles.
Experience using project management and tracking tools such as Jira, SharePoint, Microsoft Project, or similar platforms.
Strong stakeholder engagement, communication, and presentation skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously under tight timelines.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills with attention to detail.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, SharePoint).
Project Management certifications or related qualifications are advantageous but not essential.
Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
Project Delivery & Execution
Manage and coordinate multiple projects and workstreams simultaneously across operational and digital environments.
Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, milestones, deliverables, and success criteria.
Coordinate cross-functional teams and resources to ensure effective project execution.
Monitor project progress and proactively manage risks, issues, dependencies, and delays.
Ensure projects are delivered within agreed scope, timelines, budget, and quality standards.
Support implementation activities to ensure minimal operational disruption and successful delivery outcomes.
Change Management & Governance
Support and maintain project change management processes across active initiatives.
Ensure changes, risks, approvals, and project impacts are documented, tracked, and communicated effectively.
Assist with project governance activities, including preparation for review forums, approvals, and stakeholder updates.
Ensure adherence to internal project management standards, frameworks, and governance requirements.
Stakeholder Engagement & Collaboration
Build and maintain strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders, operational teams, technology partners, and support functions.
Act as a key point of coordination between project teams and business stakeholders.
Facilitate project meetings, workshops, and alignment sessions to ensure stakeholders remain informed and engaged.
Communicate project progress, risks, dependencies, and decisions clearly and consistently across all levels.
Reporting & Documentation
Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation, including RAID logs, status reports, action trackers, and implementation records.
Compile and distribute project reporting for operational and leadership visibility.
Support resource planning, benefit tracking, and project reporting activities throughout the project lifecycle.
Ensure project documentation is audit-ready and aligned to governance requirements.
Continuous Improvement & Operational Support
Identify opportunities for process improvement, efficiencies, and operational optimization across projects and workflows.
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and support the development of best practices within the project environment.
Support initiatives aimed at improving delivery consistency, stakeholder experience, and project governance standards.
Risk & Quality Management
Identify potential project risks and support the implementation of mitigation plans.
Monitor project quality standards and ensure deliverables align with agreed business requirements and success criteria.
Escalate critical risks, blockers, or delivery concerns where required.
