Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Metal Fabricators for projects located in or around Gordonsville, TN. This is a first shift opportunity and the pay rate is up to $32/hour based on experience plus $125/per diem to Travelers 60+ miles from the Jobsite. Job Scope:
- Measure, cut, fit, and assemble metal components
- Fabricate structural steel, frames, brackets, and custom metal parts
- Operate fabrication equipment and machinery to complete production requirements
- Work with carbon steel, stainless steel, and aluminum materials
- Maintain accurate measurements and tolerances throughout the fabrication process
- Read and interpret schematics, drawings, and fabrication prints
- Inspect finished products to ensure quality and dimensional accuracy
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized shop environment
Requirements:
- Previous fabrication experience preferred
- Experience working with structural steel, stainless steel, and aluminum
- Ability to read and interpret schematics and fabrication drawings
- Strong measuring, fitting, and layout skills
- Ability to maintain precise tolerances and quality standards
- Experience operating fabrication equipment and shop tools
- Must be reliable, safety-conscious, and able to work independently or as part of a team
