Significance, Inc. is seeking an UiPath RPA Developer Senior Technical Advisor to join our team supporting our Navy customer in Alexandria, VA. This hybrid position requires an active Secret clearance. You’ll join a collaborative team focused on delivering practical solutions that support the Navy’s mission.

The UiPath RPA Developer will:
•    Independently design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain UiPath automation solutions that support Navy business process automation, data reconciliation, validation, and reporting requirements.
•    Lead technical process discovery with Navy functional users to understand current-state business processes, identify automation opportunities, assess technical feasibility, and translate business requirements into scalable and auditable RPA solutions.
•    Design and build end-to-end automation solutions using UiPath Studio and related UiPath technologies, applying reusable components, development standards, and appropriate solution architecture.
•    Publish, schedule, monitor, and support production automations through UiPath Orchestrator, including job management, queues, assets, credentials, triggers, exception handling, and operational monitoring.
•    Evaluate business processes and recommend appropriate automation approaches based on technical feasibility, process complexity, data availability, security requirements, expected value, and maintainability.
•    Integrate UiPath automations with Navy and DoW systems of record and enterprise data sources, including Excel, SharePoint, SQL databases, APIs, and other applications and data platforms.
•    Develop Python scripts, SQL queries, APIs, and other supporting technical components required to enable end-to-end automation solutions and data processing.
•    Apply RPA and software development best practices, including modular and reusable solution design, version control, structured exception handling, logging, testing, debugging, code review, and configuration management.
•    Develop and maintain process definition documents (PDDs), solution design documents (SDDs), technical specifications, test plans, deployment documentation, and user/operations documentation in accordance with program and DoW standards.
•    Develop and execute unit and integration testing and support user acceptance testing (UAT), production deployment, and post-implementation validation of automation solutions.
•    Independently troubleshoot complex bot failures and production issues, conduct root-cause analysis, and develop sustainable technical solutions to prevent recurrence.
•    Work directly with functional and technical stakeholders to identify opportunities for automation and help translate loosely defined business problems into actionable technical requirements and solution approaches.
•    Support evaluation and integration of emerging automation and artificial intelligence capabilities, including Azure and Azure AI services, to enhance existing automation solutions or address new business requirements.
•    Evaluate opportunities to incorporate generative AI, intelligent document processing, and other AI-enabled capabilities into automation workflows when technically and operationally appropriate.
•    Participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, stand-ups, demonstrations, and retrospectives, and independently manage assigned development activities through the software development lifecycle.
•    Coordinate with Information Assurance/Cybersecurity personnel, system owners, and other technical stakeholders to ensure solutions comply with Navy and DoW security, access control, change management, data protection, and Authority to Operate (ATO) requirements.
•    Collaborate with senior technical leadership and other developers to support development standards, reusable automation components, technical governance, and continuous improvement of the program's automation capabilities.
•    Provide informal technical guidance and knowledge sharing to less-experienced developers while remaining an individual contributor responsible for hands-on solution development and delivery.
•    Mentor junior developers and contribute to the RPA Center of Excellence's coding standards, reusable libraries, and governance framework (senior-level candidates).
