Hammond Lumber Company is seeking an enthusiastic and motivated team member to join our Training Team as a Trainer.
This position plays an important role in supporting employee development, onboarding, operational consistency, and long-term growth across our locations. The Trainer will work closely with branch leadership, department managers, and employees to deliver training programs, reinforce company standards, and help team members build the skills needed to succeed.

Primary Responsibilities
- Facilitate instructor-led training programs, workshops, and onboarding sessions
- Conduct branch visits to support employee development and operational training needs
- Coach and mentor employees, supervisors, and managers on company processes and best practices
- Assist in the development, maintenance, and continuous improvement of training materials, guides, and learning resources
- Support Learning Management System (LMS) administration and training documentation
- Monitor training completion and help ensure compliance with required training programs
- Partner with branch management to identify performance gaps and recommend training solutions
- Provide feedback to the Training Manager regarding training effectiveness and opportunities for improvement
- Support company training initiatives, rollouts, and special projects

Requirements
- Demonstrated success in a leadership, supervisory, training, or departmental role
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to build credibility and relationships with employees at all levels of the organization
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to facilitate group discussions and present information confidently
- Comfortable using Microsoft Office products and company software systems
- Willingness to travel to company locations as needed

Preferred Qualifications
- Previous training, coaching, or facilitation experience
- Experience leading projects or implementing operational improvements
- Knowledge of company SOPs, operational standards, and branch procedures
- Experience working across multiple departments or locations
