POSITION SUMMARY:
The Camp Concierge is focused entirely on providing personalized, high-touch service to Members and their guests. The priority is fostering relationships, anticipating needs, and ensuring an exceptional private club experience. The position is responsible for communicating with and coordinating the needs of the Martis Camp Members and their guests while managing front desk operations. This role works closely with all departments and staff to consistently deliver the Martis Camp experience through exceptional service, efficient operations, and thoughtful coordination. This role also supports the Communications Manager with information collection and distribution.
Guided by the Club’s offerings, amenities, programming, and events, the Concierge operates within the boundaries of the yearly schedule, budget, and Club Rules under the direction of the Communications Manager and in accordance with the Club’s Vision, Mission, Goals, and Service standards.
ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Member & Guest Services
- Answer incoming calls, emails, and in-person inquiries in a professional and courteous manner.
- Provide accurate information, directions, and assistance to Members, guests, and vendors.
- Manage and assist Members with reservations and access across all Club amenities, services, programs, and departments.
- Anticipate Member and guest needs and deliver a personalized, high-touch service experience.
- Maintain a superior service attitude and polished professional presentation.
Front Desk Operations & Administrative Support
- Organize and distribute packages, business mail, magazines, and other deliveries.
- Maintain accurate activity logs and records.
- Support front desk operations and ensure efficient daily workflow.
- Assist the Communications Manager with information collection and distribution.
Member Communication & Systems Support
- Maintain comprehensive knowledge of Club communications, information, and reservation systems.
- Assist and educate Members on the use of Club technology, communication platforms, and reservation tools.
- Communicate current Club information, events, and programs accurately and consistently.
Team Collaboration & Operational Coordination
- Collaborate with all departments to ensure seamless Member experiences.
- Maintain positive communication and cooperative working relationships with Ambassadors, staff, Members, and guests.
- Support Concierge teammates in following departmental policies, procedures, and service standards.
Professional Standards & Other Duties
- Uphold Martis Camp's Mission, Vision, Values, and confidentiality standards.
- Demonstrate ethical conduct, professional appearance, and behavior.
- Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned to support Club operations, safety initiatives, and service excellence.
PREFERRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, CERTIFICATIONS, AND LICENSURE:
- Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field preferred.
- One (1) or more years of experience in a concierge, front office, hospitality, customer service, or Member/Guest Services role preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, Excel, and Teams).
- Experience utilizing reservation, scheduling, or customer relationship management (CRM) systems preferred.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.

- Ability and flexibility to work a fluctuating schedule, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and special Club events as required by operational needs.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Ability to lift items (weights up to 40 lbs)
- Ability to communicate effectively in a collaborative work environment utilizing various technologies such as telephone, computer, web, voice, teleconferencing, e-mail, etc.
- Ability to work evenings, holidays, and weekends. Saturday and Sunday work is required during holiday seasons and summer.
- Ability to stand and sit for long periods and perform tasks that require bending, stooping, kneeling, bending, twisting, crouching, climbing, reaching, standing, sitting, carrying, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting, and grasping.
WAGE RANGE & BENEFITS: $26.00 hr
