Overview

As a Warehouse Support you will support the processing shipments in a safe and efficient manner, with high efficiency, and focus on customer satisfaction. The Warehouse Support role provides administrative tasks as support for the warehouse and customers service team. As Warehouse Support you are the Gatekeeper for the branch and the beginning and end of the process.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a key point of contact for internal customers and drivers;
• Ensure timely and accurate processing of inbound and outbound shipment documentation;
• Verify and process customs, shipping, receiving, and inventory records within the Warehouse Management System (WMS);
• Monitor inventory transactions and investigate discrepancies;
• Maintain customer records, reports, and operational documentation;
• Support cycle counts and inventory audits through accurate administrative controls;
• Respond to inquiries regarding shipment status, inventory records, and administrative matters;
• Coordinate documentation requirements with internal customers and logistics partners;
• Work closely with warehouse teams to ensure smooth workflow;
• Assist in problem-solving related to inventory, shipments, and customer requirements;
• Support implementation of new systems, processes, and customer programs;
• Treat our customers shipments as if they are yours;
• Apply continuous improvement to reduce costs.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in warehouse administration, logistics, or supply chain operations.
• Knowledge of air freight regulations is desirable.
• Fluent oral and written English is a must
• Additional (major) European languages would be an asset

• VGB security clearance (or the ability to obtain it) is required for this position

• Must be detail oriented and able to work in fast pace, high volume environment.

• Strong organizational and time management skills.

• Actively participates in safety policies, activities and implementations.

• Work effectively as part of a team

• Ability to understand and follow instructions

• Able to use a computer and the main software packages competently

• Reliability and dependability.

• Patience and the ability to remain calm in stressful situations

• Work well under pressure

• Self-motivated with a positive attitude;

• Be customer service driven and exceed their expectations

• Employees may be required to work hours other than the set shift hours to facilitate the completion of required work or resolve critical issues.
• Must be available for overtime, covering holiday and sickness
