# Key Responsibilities

  • Build and mentor a high-performing team of electrical engineers and technicians.
  • Foster a culture of ownership, collaboration, innovation, and continuous development.
  • Implement structured training programs and provide technical mentorship to strengthen organizational capabilities and leadership pipelines.
  • Coordinate the full lifecycle management of electrical systems across High Voltage (HV), Medium Voltage (MV), and Low Voltage (LV) networks.
  • Lead commissioning, operation, maintenance, and optimization of electrical infrastructure from 161kV systems down to LV distribution systems, including emergency generators, Dynamic UPS, and advanced power quality equipment.
  • Ensure robust electrical reliability, power quality, protection coordination, and monitoring systems to support uninterrupted manufacturing operations.
  • Promote innovation through SMART power systems, predictive maintenance, digital technologies, and AI-enabled solutions to optimize equipment performance, reliability, and operational efficiency.
  • Leverage AI-enabled tools, advanced analytics, automation technologies, and data-driven insights to improve engineering productivity, equipment reliability, maintenance effectiveness, and operational decision-making.
  • Drive adoption of digital and AI-powered monitoring, diagnostics, and workflow automation solutions to enhance system performance, reduce operational risks, and accelerate problem resolution.
  • Promote a data-driven and AI-enabled culture by coaching team members on the effective use of AI tools, digital platforms, and advanced analytics in daily operations.
  • Complete capacity planning, performance analysis, and infrastructure expansion projects to support site growth, resilience, and long-term business objectives.
  • Ensure compliance with ISO 9001, IATF 16949, corporate quality standards, and all applicable regulatory requirements.
  • Champion TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) principles to improve equipment reliability, enhance asset utilization, and minimize downtime.
  • Conduct risk assessments, FMEA, and reliability studies to eliminate single points of failure and improve system robustness.
  • Lead quality improvement initiatives aligned with corporate standards, manufacturing excellence objectives, and customer requirements.
  • Drive root cause investigations through structured problem-solving methodologies such as 8D, RCA, and CAPA programs.
  • Promote operational rigor, reliability excellence, and a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Validate project scope, schedule, cost estimates, and technical requirements for infrastructure upgrades and expansion projects.
  • Provide engineering oversight throughout design, construction, commissioning, and handover phases of capital projects.
  • Manage capital expenditure (CapEx) and operational expenditure (OpEx) budgets effectively while delivering business value and operational excellence.
  • Lead energy efficiency initiatives, sustainability programs, reliability improvement strategies, and long-term capacity planning efforts.
  • Collaborate with multi-functional teams to align electrical infrastructure strategies with broader site, manufacturing, and business objectives.

# Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience required; Master's Degree preferred.
  • Minimum 8–10 years of electrical engineering experience, including at least 3–5 years in a leadership or managerial role.
  • Semiconductor manufacturing, advanced manufacturing, or critical facilities experience strongly preferred.
  • Strong expertise in HV/MV/LV electrical systems, emergency generators, Dynamic UPS systems, power quality equipment, and utility coordination with Taiwan Power Company.
  • Familiarity with SMART systems, digital technologies, AI-enabled tools, predictive maintenance platforms, advanced monitoring systems, and TPM methodologies.
  • Demonstrated ability to leverage AI-enabled technologies, digital platforms, and data analytics to improve engineering effectiveness, operational performance, equipment reliability, and business outcomes.
  • Experience with predictive analytics, intelligent monitoring systems, machine learning applications, digital twins, or AI-assisted maintenance and operational solutions is highly desirable.
  • Ability to adapt to emerging AI technologies and integrate AI-assisted ways of working into engineering, maintenance, and facility operations.
  • Proven success in building, mentoring, developing, and leading high-performance teams.
  • Strong communication, stakeholder management, and project leadership skills with the ability to influence and collaborate across organizations.
  • Proficient in English with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Strong understanding of semiconductor manufacturing processes, facility systems, and critical infrastructure requirements.
  • Demonstrated success in cost management, operational efficiency improvement, supplier management, and reliability enhancement programs.
  • Experience with ISO/IATF compliance, quality management systems, and continuous improvement methodologies.
