Salary: $110,000-$180,000
Position Overview: Dalcom Engineering is currently seeking a Radar Engineer to support the application of radar systems across various domains at Aberdeen Proving Ground.

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide systems engineering support to radar science and technology efforts.
- Lead development of system architectures and integration of software and hardware subsystems.
- Develop, allocate, and manage user and system-level requirements.
- Define and assess subsystem interfaces and coordinate integration across radar/RF software and hardware components.
- Evaluate design tradeoffs and balance technical risks across systems and subsystems.
- Develop and assess measures of performance and measures of effectiveness.
- Support test and evaluation planning and provide oversight of verification and validation activities.
- Lead and participate in technical meetings to resolve issues across software, hardware, modeling, and analysis disciplines.
- Manage and lead systems engineering Integrated Product Teams.
- Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders on requirements definition, use case development, and subsystem integration.
- Prepare and present clear technical briefings for engineering teams, Government stakeholders, and leadership.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in a STEM discipline and 3+ years of relevant experience.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a SECRET Security Clearance
- Experience applying systems engineering to ground- or air-based radar, communications, or RF systems.
- Experience developing, designing, allocating, and managing user and system-level requirements.
- Experience developing system architectures, evaluating design tradeoffs, balancing technical risks, and defining and assessing interfaces.
- Experience calculating measures of performance and measures of effectiveness.
- Experience overseeing verification and validation activities.
- Experience in test and evaluation planning.
- Systems engineering experience involving radar/RF software and hardware subsystems.
- Ability to communicate complex technical ideas and deliver clear, well-organized presentations to audiences at all levels.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in radar and/or other RF system design, development, engineering, testing, evaluation, and data analysis.
- Knowledge of object-oriented programming.
- Experience with MATLAB and C++ programming.
- Experience with DoD systems engineering processes and tools, including DOORS and DoDAF.
- Experience developing system architectures and frameworks.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office 365, including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Teams.
- Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills, a proactive approach, and the ability to work toward technical and project goals.
