IT Infrastructure Assistant Manager
Job Summary
Supports the IT Infrastructure Manager in managing infrastructure operations and ensuring reliable, secure, and efficient IT services.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise day-to-day infrastructure operations and technical support activities.
- Manage network, server, cloud, storage, backup, and endpoint environments.
- Monitor infrastructure availability, capacity, and performance.
- Lead infrastructure implementation, upgrade, and migration projects.
- Assist in incident, problem, and change management.
- Ensure infrastructure security controls and standards are implemented.
- Coordinate with vendors and service providers.
- Maintain infrastructure documentation and operational procedures.
- Support disaster recovery and business continuity activities.
- Mentor infrastructure specialists and technical staff.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field.
- 5–8 years of relevant IT infrastructure experience.
- Experience supervising or leading infrastructure teams.
- Knowledge of enterprise networking, servers, cloud, virtualization, and security.
- Strong troubleshooting and project coordination skills.
