Job Description
As a Security Guard Patrol Driver in Orovada, NV, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a secure environment through strong customer service and communication. This driving position requires a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. - Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a manufacturing and industrial location.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols and reporting requirements.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facilities, production areas, access points, parking areas, and perimeter boundaries to help identify unusual activity and potential hazards.
- Monitor access to the location by checking credentials, maintaining visitor and contractor logs, and reporting unauthorized access attempts.
- Document patrols, incidents, and security-related observations in daily activity reports, and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.
Minimum Requirements:
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- A guard card or license is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
