What You'll Do

Working under the direction of an Occupational Therapist, you will:

• Provide occupational therapy treatments in patients' homes

• Follow established plans of care

• Help patients improve independence with activities of daily living

• Provide therapeutic activities to improve strength, coordination, mobility, and functional ability

• Assist with dressing, bathing, grooming, toileting, meal preparation, and other everyday activities

• Reinforce safe use of adaptive equipment and home modifications

• Educate patients and caregivers on techniques to improve safety and independence

• Monitor progress and communicate changes to the supervising OT

• Coordinate with the interdisciplinary care team

• Complete accurate and timely documentation using WellSky

What We're Looking For

• Active Virginia Occupational Therapy Assistant License Required

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program

• Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation

• Strong patient care and communication skills

• Ability to work independently during home visits while following the OT's established plan of care

• Home Health Experience Preferred, but Not Required

• WellSky Experience is a Plus
