Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced SFC Developer / Manufacturing Systems Developer to develop, maintain, troubleshoot, and enhance our manufacturing SFC/MES systems.
This is a developer-level position. The primary focus is code-level analysis, software development, database changes, API development, system-logic analysis, debugging, and permanent resolution of complex SFC issues.
The ideal candidate has strong Java, Oracle/PLSQL, software troubleshooting, and logical problem-solving skills, with the ability to understand the relationship between manufacturing processes, application logic, and database data.
The position will work closely with the SFC development team, onsite IT, IE, PE, QA, manufacturing, and other technical teams. Chinese-speaking ability is preferred.

- Develop, maintain, enhance, and support SFC/MES applications.
- Perform source-code analysis, debugging, and system-logic analysis to identify root causes.
- Troubleshoot complex production issues using application logs, source code, APIs, database records, and manufacturing-process analysis.
- Implement permanent software fixes rather than temporary workarounds.
- Develop new functions and modify existing SFC functionality.
- Support the continued development of the SFC platform, with a primary focus on Java-based technologies.
- Develop and maintain Oracle SQL/PLSQL, including:
- Stored procedures
- Functions
- Packages
- Queries
- Analyze production data and perform controlled data corrections when required.
- Develop, maintain, and troubleshoot REST APIs and system integrations.
- Analyze application, API, and database interactions to resolve system issues.
Develop a strong understanding of SFC/MES processes, including:
- Work orders and routing
- Station/process control
- Serial number tracking
- Material traceability
- Quality control
- Repair/rework
- Production tracking and testing
- Packing and shipment
4. Collaboration & Deployment
- Work closely with the SFC development team to resolve complex technical issues.
- Collaborate with IT, IE, PE, QA, manufacturing, and other technical teams.
- Participate in code reviews, testing, deployment, and production validation.
- Document system logic, root causes, corrective actions, and permanent fixes.
- Support production issues when software-level intervention is required.
- Strong professional experience in Java software development.
- Strong Oracle Database and SQL/PLSQL experience.
- Experience with one or more of:

- Strong source-code analysis, debugging, and troubleshooting skills.
- Strong logical thinking and structured problem-solving ability.

- Strong ownership and responsibility for production system stability.
- Chinese-speaking ability strongly preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related technical field preferred.
- Equivalent education combined with strong relevant software development experience may be considered.
- Relevant certifications in Java, Oracle/SQL/PLSQL, Spring/Spring Boot, software engineering, database development, Linux, MES, or SFC technologies are a plus.
- Experience with SFC, MES, manufacturing execution, or shop-floor systems.
- Experience in electronics or high-volume manufacturing.
- Understanding of SMT, assembly, testing, repair/rework, and packing processes.
- Experience with manufacturing databases and production data analysis.
- Experience with REST APIs and system integrations.
- Experience with Git/version control and software deployment.
- Linux and/or Windows application experience.
- Delphi/Pascal experience is a plus, particularly for supporting legacy SFC modules, but is not a primary requirement. Future SFC development will primarily be Java-based.
