About the Role:
Capital Radiology & IDX are pleased to present an exciting opportunity for a Medical Imaging Assistant with excellent interpersonal, organisation and communication skills to join our team at Capital Vermont.
You will be highly motivated with a strong focus on patient care, and the ability to work well in a team environment.
This will be a permanent, full-time (Mon-Fri) position, and will require rotation through our Vermont Private site other nearby clinics.
Responsibilities Include:
Duties include but are not limited to:
- Assist Radiographers in providing CT and Sonographer efficiency, and Radiologists in performing Ultrasound (US) Guided Procedures
- CT and Ultrasound patient preparation from waiting room to point of scanning
- Assistance to the Radiologist in performing US Guided Procedures
- General pre and post scan patient care
About You:
- Healthcare experience is beneficial
- Ability to promote and maintain high standards of patient care
- High level of personal and interpersonal communication
- Ability to prioritise and complete tasks in a timely manner
- Excellent organisation and time management skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multi-disciplinary team
- Have or be willing to obtain CPR accreditation
