Job Summary

This role will be responsible for the management of cooling tower delivery and installation projects, and to coach and support our distributors to do the same, especially for our key customers in data centers and electronics.

Job Description

• Carry out the supervision for Cooling tower assembling and maintenance works in new construction and replacement projects
• Prepare Permit to work, Job safety analysis and necessary document for installation works as needed by the main contractor and conduct briefing of PTW/MOS to the working personnel.
• Lead the installation team during assembling works and ensure the team complies with MOS/JSA. Report the work progress to Project Engineer.
• Guide the site team for defect rectification on Cooling tower during construction stage and upload photos in the site management system for client approval.
• Interpret construction drawings for equipment layouts/positions, structural support requirements and verify the same with actual equipment before execution.
• Carryout drive coupling alignment by dial gauge/laser method and troubleshooting in the fan drive system.
• Familiar with ACMV equipment operations like Pumps, Heat Exchangers and Chillers.
• Prepare Commissioning check lists, method statements, spare parts forecasts for preventive maintenance of Cooling tower and other ACMV equipments.
• Prepare Installation procedures and checklist and monitor the site team during installation works.
• Carryout alignment works using the team of manpower, guide them on site and get the levelling and alignment approved by General contractor/Client.
• Attend emergency calls within 60 minutes and able to resolve the reported issue with in next 3 Hours.
• Carryout regular maintenance of Cooling tower and inspect/fill-up the check list and get verified with client for approval.
• Carryout testing & commissioning of Cooling tower and support for Heat load test and Integrated systems tests as necessary by different projects.
• Prepare reports for testing & commissioning, equipment inspections, job completion, cause analysis and client feedback.
• Having Data centre experience is an added advantage.

Job requirements:

• Min ITI or Diploma 10 years' experience in similar works
• Must have BCSS, WAH, Confined Space Entry, SOC for Process Plant
• Knowledge of cooling towers, Heat exchangers and pumps
• Able to work independently and result orientated
• Possess own transport

Location: Required often outstation within Gelang Patah and Senai area

Salary Range: Open for discussion
