As a Security Officer - Patrol Driver in Flagstaff, AZ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, support access control activities, and help to deter incidents through a visible presence. - Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel while carrying out site-specific procedures and emergency response activities.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of manufacturing areas, warehouse spaces, access points, parking areas, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
- Monitor access control points, verify credentials and visitor authorization, and maintain accurate logs of entries, exits, and unusual observations.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site and Allied Universal reporting protocols.
- Document incidents and observations clearly and promptly, and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.
Minimum Requirements:
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Experience with access control and badge systems is preferred.
- Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
- Experience with alarm panels is preferred.
- A guard card or license is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
