Shift Electrician

We are looking for a Shift Electrician to join the engineering team and help ensure production equipment is maintained in a condition that allows maximum uptime, reliability and safe operation.

 

What you'll be doing
●    Electrical fault finding and breakdown response.
●    Preventative and scheduled maintenance.
●    Troubleshooting production and plant equipment.
●    Supporting plant reliability and reducing downtime.
●    Root cause analysis and continuous improvement activities.
●    Working closely with production and engineering teams.
●    Maintaining accurate maintenance records and documentation.
●    The shifts are 6am-6pm 4 days on and 4 days off

 

Skills & Experience
●    EWRB registered with a current practising licence.
●    Minimum 2 years’ industrial experience.
●    Strong knowledge of building trades, cleaning procedures and maintenance practices.
●    Solid understanding of health and safety regulations and practices.
●    CMMS experience is highly advantageous.
●    Strong leadership, communication and organisational skills.
●    Computer literate, including email, MS Office, MS Teams and similar systems.
●    Ability to plan, organise and prioritise work effectively.
●    High attention to detail and commitment to quality standards.
●    Professional and reliable approach to work.
●    Effective troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
●    Ability to use initiative and make sound decisions when required.
●    Strong commitment to workplace safety and continuous improvement.
