A leading independent preparatory school is seeking a bright, compassionate and academically strong graduate to join their Learning Support team from September 2026. This role offers an excellent opportunity to work closely with pupils with SEND while gaining first-hand experience alongside experienced teachers, SEN professionals and external specialists.

As an Aspiring Educational Psychologist, you will support pupils on a 1:1 and small-group basis, helping to remove barriers to learning, promote emotional wellbeing and encourage academic progress.

Aspiring Educational Psychologist – Role Overview

• Full-time, long-term position from September 2026

• £110–£120 per day (term-time only)

• Supporting pupils with a range of SEND needs

• Delivering targeted interventions and classroom support

• Working closely with the SENCo, teachers and external professionals

Aspiring Educational Psychologist – Person Specification

• 2:1 degree or higher in Psychology or a related subject from a leading UK university

• Previous experience working with children or young people desirable

• Genuine interest in child development, SEND and mental health

• Strong communication and relationship-building skills

• Patient, empathetic and proactive approach
