Responsibilities

• System Design and Development: Architect, develop, and implement cutting-edge, scalable systems using industry-standard technologies to address complex requirements.
• DevOps and Automation: Streamline workflows and deliver seamless software implementations.
• Database Management: Oversee, optimize database performance, and ensure the integrity of sensitive financial data systems.
• Collaboration: Partner with cross-functional teams, including business analysts, developers, and financial experts, to analyze system needs and deliver tailored solutions.
• Application Deployment: Configure and manage application servers, ensuring secure and optimal deployment for applications.
• System Support: Identify and resolve technical issues, conduct root-cause analyses, and implement durable solutions to protect critical operations.
• Documentation: Maintain comprehensive system documentation with detailed architecture diagrams, specifications, and protocols to comply with financial regulatory requirements.
• Continuous Improvement: Stay ahead of technology trends in the financial ecosystem and drive innovation to enhance system performance, security, and reliability.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or equivalent professional experience.
• Prior experience working with financial services or banking systems.
• Minimum of 6 years of experience in system design, development, and analysis, preferably in financial services or banking industries.
• Advanced proficiency in Java and Spring Boot frameworks.
• Proven expertise with OpenShift, GitLab, Jenkins, and establishing CI/CD pipelines for robust solution delivery.
• Extensive experience in PL/SQL and a deep understanding of database management for sensitive and regulated industries.
• Hands-on knowledge of Tomcat and RabbitMQ application servers.
• Demonstrated capability to design and implement large-scale systems within secure financial environments.
• Strong aptitude for troubleshooting, problem-solving, and ensuring data integrity in all solutions.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Good command in both English and Chinese (Cantonese).
