Overview
As an Elevator Repair Technician, you'll install new elevators and escalators including electrical work and control system programming. You'll maintain and repair vertical transportation equipment, perform routine maintenance tasks like oiling and cleaning mechanical parts, inspect safety devices, respond to emergency calls for quick and efficient repairs, update maintenance records, conduct safety audits, and stay current with elevator technology advancements. Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent, certified elevator technician degree or elevator mechanic license, valid driver's license with clean record, and availability for on-call emergency work.
