Overview
As a Fleet Transmission Technician at Big Valley Ford, you'll diagnose, repair, and maintain automatic and manual transmission systems for fleet and commercial vehicles. Responsibilities include performing transmission rebuilds, replacements, and component-level repairs, conducting inspections and preventative maintenance, troubleshooting drivability issues, and performing diagnostic testing using scan tools. You'll complete repairs according to manufacturer standards, document diagnostics and repairs, and communicate with service advisors about repair status. The position requires transmission certification or equivalent experience, minimum 3 years of experience with fleet vehicle transmission systems, and proficiency with diagnostic tools. Work schedule is Monday-Friday, 7am-4pm.
