About the role:

The role is being hired to strengthen the current validation team due to an increasing number of new projects at the Michalovce facility.

The position is intended to cover the validation of manufacturing processes within production units, ensuring that activities are performed according to predefined project timelines and in compliance with SOPs and standards. Process validation is a series of activities that demonstrate the process is capable of consistently producing quality products.

This is one of the key positions for enabling the first production runs and ensuring products of good quality.

Your key duties and responsibilities as an Engineer - Validation:

This is a local role, and the holder of this position is responsible for:

• Understanding the process and its risks in order to outline appropriate validation steps.

• Cooperating with other departments to ensure a smooth validation process.

• Re-validating processes according to the time plan.

• Reviewing all procedures necessary for validation activities.

• Writing validation documentation using existing templates.

• Updating and creating machine cards.

• Supporting process failure investigations as a member of a multidisciplinary team.

• Applying basic statistics to process data, if necessary.

• Providing regular updates to the relevant manager and project leader. .

About you:

• Knowledge and experience in engineering, and statistical tools

• Experience with risk assessment tools (e.g. PFMEA)

• Experience in process validation and capability

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in industrial production – internship experience is acceptable

• Analytical thinking, sense for detail, technical skills, willingness to learn new things, and being a team player

Advantage:

• Relevant work experience as process, technology, or quality engineer

• Technical background from manufacturing

• Knowledge of root cause analysis tools

Education / Qualifications:

Mandatory:

• Proficient with PC programs i.e. Office (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint)

• Communicative level of English language

Big advantage: 

• QMS systems (e.g. ISO 13485, ISO 9001) and cGMP understanding  

• Experience with risk assessment tools (e.g. PFMEA)

• Basic statistical tools (e.g. Minitab)

• Master’s or advanced degree preferred in Technical / Engineering or Quality Management/Engineering 

Advantage:

• Technical background from manufacturing

• Knowledge of root cause analysis tools

• SAP knowledge
