A Day in the Life

To support our Spinal Technologies team we are currently looking for an experienced Therapy Sales Specialist that would be responsible for sales activities within Romandie in Switzerland. We offer you a position where you will acquire, maintain and develop the Spine Therapies (Core Spine, Biologics, Midas, AQM, Nav, O-arm) within existing and new customers in line with the “District Sales Manager Cranial & Spinal Technologies” guidelines in the defined sales territory while meeting or exceeding financial and non-financial targets, in a way that enhances Medtronic’s reputation in the market.

Furthermore, you will be responsible for providing clinical case support in the OR to surgeons/nursing staff and developing/generating leads those activities such as intraoperative imaging (O-Arm), drills (Midas) and navigation (Stealthstation) in your territory in cooperation with specialists and colleagues. 80% remote, located in Romandie area.

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned: 

• Providing clinical case support in OR to surgeons & nursing staff in the operating theatre for all CST therapies (core spine implants, Midas drills, Oarm and Navigation, Energy portfolio)
• Performs all activities to maximize sales (in line with the sales strategy). 
• Further develops existing accounts into new therapies and develops entirely new accounts
• Ensures that consignment and all other stock levels are properly controlled (asset and inventory management prior and after surgeries).
• Generating leads for the portfolio (Core Spine, Biologics, Midas, AQM, Nav, O-arm)

Required Knowledge and Experience: 

• Multiple years of Sales experience, ideally in the medical device industry/environment 
• Clinical or technical experience in the medical environment 
• Professional fluency in French, English  
• Location in central Switzerland Romandie 
• Team player attitude and ability to cooperate within a team 
• Ability to work independently and without supervision 
• Full clean driver's license
